Critters Camp Out

Hello again. I'm on a roll this week with making cards, lol. For this card, I am using the current sketch challenge #327 for CAS Colours and Sketches.
Here is the sketch
I started off stamping my images in memento black ink onto Neenah 110 cardstock. I chose stinkin cute images from Sunny Studios Critter Campout. Then, I coloured my images using copic markers. Afterwards, I masked my images and started ink blending using distress ink mustard seed.
Then, I inked again with shabby shutters and made lawn distress ink for the grass.
Next, for the fire glow, I inked using spiced marmalade and fired brick.
And for the sky, I used seedless preserves and an SU Night of navy.

Afterwards, I removed my masking. and adhered my sentiment by heat embossing Ranger superfine white embossing powder.
I am also entering this card for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes

Thank you for dropping by.
Love and crafty hugs,
Clarissa

AAA Cards Weekend Workout

AAA Cards Weekend workout

Hello, I didn't mean working out at the gym, but a creative workout as I managed to do two CAS cards. For the first card, I used the Altenew leaf burst stencil for my rainbow background. I coloured these with a range of distress ink. Once dried, I heat embossed an outline flower from Altenew Peony bouquet with Hero Arts copper embossing powder, then adhered this to a card. Thought to leave it uncoloured as the background is quite colourful already. A happy birthday sentiment from Simon Says Stamp  (Beautiful flowers)  finished off my card.
I'm entering this card also in the daily marker 30 day challenge and SSS IG challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
Love and hugs,
Clarissa

A Gnome Summer

A Gnome Summer
Hello peeps. My entry to #lawnfawnatics challenge #55, all about summer. I was inspired by  (kristina’s) distress oxide blends so I had a go, and the waves kind off flowed (lots of masking, though).

I love gnomes so I thought of a summer gnome theme and all the things they could do at the beach. Used several @lawnfawn stamps. As I wanted to use a lot of the stamps, @insideoutjeans(Jeannie)’s floating floor came to mind. I had fun dressing up the gnomes in their togs and bathing suits and shades, aren’t these stinking cute?
Hope you like it. This is also Day 14 of @kathyrac the daily marker 30 day challenge.
Color recipe: sand (SU grey die ink, distress ink vintage photo, splatters of Yasumoto pearlised color)
Sky: Distress oxide faded jeans, wilted violet, carved pumpkin, picked raspberry
Waves: distress oxide faded jeans, salty ocean, mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers and/or broken china
Tip: leave little space between colours to make the foam effect.
Images coloured with copic markers and cut with Brother scan n cut and some fussy cut.
Supplies used: Lawn fawn sets :Village Shops, Bicycle built for you, Oh Gnome, On the Beach, Life is Good, Plus one, Rub-A-Dub-dub), Ocean shadow box add on die

Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.
Love and hugs and happy crafting,
Clarissa

An extended Shadow box card!

Isn’t this card so cute and summery? Day 10 of @kathyrac #thedailymarker30day, finished the background and assembled this extended shadow box card, idea I got from @nicholspohr and @karens_kardzz. Used the summer piggies from @isabelcristinanl stamps. Hope you enjoy this fun card.
I used the wave stencil from Simon Says Stamp as it's so easy to make quick waves.
Then I used the Lawn fawn shadow box ocean add on for my window.
I continued decorating the panel to add more summer piggies. Hope you like this fun, interactive card.
Love and hugs,
Clarissa

A masculine card

I struggle making masculine cards, and so when I saw the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches 393, I had to give it a go.
For my card, I used Lawn Fawn's Baked with Love stamp, and coloured it with copic markers. I was inspired by Ashley Tucker (check her youtube link here) to use an interactive spinning wheel for my muffins, with the mixer image in the middle. Here is my card.

This stamp suits another  challenge,The Male Room Challenge  #113 Cooking and Baking so I am entering my card too here.

Thanks for stopping by. Love and hugs, Clarissa

A birthday card

Hello, this is my first blog post, so bear with me. Day 6-8 of Kathy's the daily marker 30 day challenge. I made this card using Altenew's Perfectly Perfect Stamp set. Stamped the image with distress ink, then coloured the flowers using Arteza real brush markers. To highlight the shadows and details, I've used my prismacolor pencils. To finish off, I have splattered watercolour all around and added some sequins. Sentiment "beautiful" is an MFT die, and I blended half of this with distress ink.
I am also entering this card for the AAA birthday card challenge game#2 using watercolors.

Supplies from Krafters Cart, New Zealand. Hope you like this.
